Mission
I am currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing company seeking a Category Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sourcing strategies and acting as a key partner to internal stakeholders, providing strategic insights, structured recommendations, and guidance in decision-making.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sourcing strategies across various categories, particularly IT
Analyze business needs and propose optimized procurement solutions
Lead RFP processes and structure supplier selection initiatives
Identify, evaluate, and develop a portfolio of strategic suppliers
Lead complex contract negotiations (including software licenses and IT services)
Ensure consistent and centralized category management across the organization
Advise and challenge internal stakeholders on procurement decisions
Monitor market trends and integrate best practices in technology sourcing
Your profile
Profile
5 to 10 years of experience in procurement, ideally in category management
Experience in indirect procurement required (IT or related categories)
Experience in an IT environment is an asset, but not mandatory
Ability to thrive in a structured yet evolving environment
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

Conditions
Salary: $100,000 to $135,000 depending on experience
Bonus based on profile
Hybrid work model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
