Allocation Coordinator

The Company
Our client is a leading national retailer with an extensive store network across Canada. As part of the continued growth of its supply chain operations, the company is seeking an Allocation Coordinator to support replenishment and inventory management activities.

The Role
Reporting to the Manager, Demand Planning & Allocation, you will play a key role in product allocation and replenishment across the company's store network. Working closely with demand planning teams, distribution centers, and various internal departments, you will help ensure product availability and support efficient inventory flow throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Adjust system-generated allocations and distribute them to warehouses and distribution centers;
• Create and modify purchase orders based on allocation requirements and supplier capacities;
• Ensure appropriate product distribution based on sales trends, seasonality, and store needs;
• Monitor inventory availability within internal systems to support replenishment activities;
• Follow up on delivery delays, stock shortages, and supply discrepancies;
• Expedite critical items when necessary;
• Analyze operational reports and coordinate the resolution of issues with the appropriate departments;
• Collaborate closely with Demand Planning and Operations teams to support inventory and replenishment objectives.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field;
• 0 to 2 years of experience in allocation, replenishment, logistics, procurement, or supply chain roles;
• Retail industry experience is considered a strong asset;
• Good working knowledge of Excel and general computer systems;
• SAP knowledge is considered an asset;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong communication skills in both English and French;
• Genuine interest in supply chain management and inventory planning.
