I’m currently recruiting a Supply Administrator for one of my clients located in Laval.
This is a 12 to 16-month contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position depending on future opportunities.

Mission
In this role, you will be responsible for various activities related to indirect purchasing, procurement, and inventory management.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Managing purchases and replenishment of supplies required for daily operations;
Negotiating pricing, fees, and terms with suppliers;
Identifying and developing relationships with new suppliers;
Sourcing alternative solutions to optimize purchasing costs;
Comparing local and international sourcing options;
Maintaining accurate supplier information and pricing;
Ensuring consistency between purchase orders and invoices;
Analyzing consumption trends and anticipating replenishment needs;
Maintaining appropriate inventory levels based on operational requirements;
Considering lead times and logistics schedules when planning purchases;
Coordinating and participating in monthly inventory counts;
Maintaining inventory and pricing databases;
Responding to requests from various internal teams;
Preparing monthly reports related to purchasing and inventory;
Identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes.
Your profile
Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement;
Experience with indirect purchasing is a strong asset;
Good experience with inventory management and control;
Comfortable negotiating with suppliers;
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify cost-saving opportunities;
Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables and lookup functions;
Experience using inventory management systems;
Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously;
Autonomous, dynamic, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
Languages
English is used on a daily basis in the workplace.
A good level of French is also required, as you will need to communicate independently with French-speaking suppliers in Quebec.
Conditions
12 to 16-month contract
Possibility of a permanent position depending on future opportunities
Location: Laval
Hybrid work model
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience
