Production Planning Supervisor

I am currently recruiting on behalf of one of my clients, a manufacturing company located near Terrebonne and Charlemagne.
We are looking for a Production Planning Supervisor who will oversee a team and all planning activities across multiple sites.
Mission
Set priorities and ensure an effective distribution of the workload;
Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability;
Coordinate planning activities across multiple manufacturing sites in Canada and the United States;
Balance workloads and priorities across the different facilities;
Oversee the release and monitoring of production orders;
Quickly identify risks that could affect production or deliveries;
Implement action plans and ensure that issues are escalated appropriately;
Collaborate with the production, customer service, sales, purchasing, and logistics teams;
Participate in the S&OP process and analyze fluctuations in demand;
Monitor key performance indicators, including OTD, schedule adherence, material shortages, planning accuracy, inventory levels, and productivity;
Present results and recommendations to management;
Structure and standardize departmental processes;
Contribute to the implementation and optimization of a new manufacturing ERP system;
Participate in continuous improvement and operational transformation projects.
Your profile
At least five years of experience in production planning;
At least two years of experience in supervision or team management;
Experience in a multi-site, multi-product manufacturing environment;
Strong knowledge of MRP principles, capacity planning, and inventory management;
Experience with a manufacturing ERP system; knowledge of Epicor is considered an asset;
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and formulas;
Bachelor’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered;
Fluency in both French and English is essential, as the successful candidate will communicate daily with teams located in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits
Annual salary of $85,000 to $95,000;
Annual bonus of 4%;
40-hour workweek;
