Supplier Quality Control Manager

I'm hiring for a major player in custom electromechanical lifting equipment. They’re looking for a Supplier Quality Control Lead to join their Boisbriand team. A key role for someone passionate about quality, manufacturing, and technical precision.
Mission
Your Role
• Review and approve initial quality documentation from suppliers: material certificates, ITPs, welding procedures, qualifications.
• Conduct inspections at all key stages of the fabrication process: blasting, painting, machining, assembly.
• Manage inspection reports, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts and assemblies.
• Propose technical solutions in case of non-conformities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee calibration of inspection equipment.
Your profile
Your Profile
• 3 to 5 years of experience in quality control in a similar industrial setting.
• CSA W178.2 welding inspector certification required – NACE is a strong asset.
• Strong ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of metrology, geometric tolerancing, and process statistics.
• Fluent in French and English (daily communication with suppliers and clients in North America).
• Initiative, attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle – frequent travel required.
