Mission
I am recruiting on behalf of one of my clients for a Plant Director to lead all operations of a strategic industrial site, driving performance, quality, and growth.
Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role in implementing operational strategy, optimizing production processes, and developing teams. As a hands-on leader, you will have a direct impact on business results and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
• Oversee and optimize all plant operations to ensure performance, quality, safety, and profitability
• Translate company strategy into actionable operational plans
• Develop, manage, and monitor the operating budget
• Plan production while optimizing human, material, and raw material resources
• Lead, engage, and develop production and management teams
• Handle operational challenges and unexpected issues with agility
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety in the workplace
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
• Contribute to new product development and ensure smooth production rollout
• Monitor performance indicators and business results
Your profile
• Inspirational leader with strong communication and team management skills
• Results-oriented with excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an industrial environment, including at least 3 years in a plant management or director role
• Bilingual French / English
• Solid knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and BRC standards
• Experience in bakery or food manufacturing is a plus
• Project management and continuous improvement experience highly valued
