Your Role
I am currently recruiting on behalf of one of my clients, a manufacturing company specializing in mechanical engineering, for a Project Manager – Automation position.
This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours/week), fully on-site.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Responsibilities:
Full management of mechanical engineering projects, from design to delivery
Analyzing client needs and developing appropriate technical solutions
Designing and validating lifting systems for infrastructure
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders (production, clients, suppliers, subcontractors)
Monitoring project costs, timelines, and quality
Writing technical documentation and progress reports
Participating in equipment testing and validation before delivery
Other related duties as required
Your profile
Your Profile
University degree in Mechanical Engineering
OIQ membership (Order of Engineers of Quebec) is an asset
Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering project management
Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector, ideally with machinery and equipment
Proficiency with project management tools
Bilingual in French and English
Note: English is required for this position due to:
Communication with North American clients
Collaboration with English-speaking partners
Drafting documents in English
Salary & Benefits
Annual salary between CAD $100,000 and $130,000, depending on experience
