IT Solution Architect
Introduction
My name is Chahinez, Recruitment Consultant at FED IT, specializing in IT roles.
I am currently looking for an IT Solution Architect to join a large organization operating in the retail industry, undergoing a major digital and omnichannel transformation.
Mission
Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Architecture, you will play a key role in designing and delivering technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
You will act as a bridge between business and IT, building scalable, secure, and future-proof architectures that support innovation, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
• Translating business needs (sales, marketing, supply chain, logistics) into integrated and interoperable solution architectures
• Designing robust target architectures aligned with retail priorities such as e-commerce, POS, CRM, and logistics
• Leading application modernization initiatives and integrating innovative services (AI, automation, recommendation engines)
• Supporting the implementation of a modern data platform to enable analytics use cases (customer segmentation, sales forecasting, store performance)
• Acting as a trusted advisor for both business and IT teams
• Producing architecture documentation and contributing to design reviews
• Ensuring security, performance, scalability, and maintainability of deployed solutions
• Staying current with emerging technologies and contributing to technology and vendor selection
Your profile
Education & Experience
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in solution architecture or IT design
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or supply chain environments is a strong asset
Technical Skills
• Modern application architectures (microservices, APIs, cloud and hybrid environments)
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, POS, CRM, ERP, or OMS solutions
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Data & AI platforms: data lakes, BI tools, analytics, MLOps
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy regulations
Soft Skills
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
• Ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional leadership
• Curious, solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to assess technical and economic trade-offs (cost vs performance, cloud vs edge, etc.)
