I’m currently hiring a Junior Data Analyst for an OBNL, where data plays a critical role in financial oversight and decision-making.

Your Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll play a key role in managing, validating, and leveraging financial and operational data.
You’ll act as a bridge between finance and operations, ensuring data accuracy, automated reporting, and actionable insights.

Mission

• Administering and maintaining financial and operational databases.
• Validating, reconciling, and ensuring consistency between systems.
• Developing and optimizing SQL queries to improve data integrity and performance.
• Building structured coding frameworks across systems.
• Producing analytical reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Automating recurring financial reports.
• Collaborating closely with internal teams to understand business needs.
• Supporting year-end financial processes and administrative data follow-ups.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of data tools and processes.
Your Profile
You’re a junior, detail-oriented, and structured data analyst looking to grow your skills in a meaningful financial context.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, IT, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in data analysis, databases, or reporting.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and data management principles.
• Familiarity with BI / reporting tools (Power BI or equivalent).
• Raiser’s Edge et/ou Financial Edge et/ou Pro Don et/ou Donor Perfect (
• Exposure to CRM or financial systems is an asset.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Autonomous, well-organized, and collaborative.
• Fluent French and functional English.
Working Conditions
• Permanent, full-time position based in Montreal.
• Hybrid work model: 1 day per week remote.
• Salary range:
o $65,000–$70,000 for junior profiles.
o Up to $75,000, depending on experience.
• Benefits after 3 months, including:
o 6% vacation pay.
