Mission
I am looking for an accounting technician for my client who specializes in construction. This is a 40h permanent contract, located close to a metro in the west of the island.
Job overview:
You will join a dynamic accounting team where you will actively contribute to the management of day-to-day financial operations for several entities. Your thoroughness and ability to juggle a variety of files will make you a pillar of the team in a constantly evolving sector.
Key responsibilities :
Perform bank reconciliations for various companies;
Produce sales tax returns (federal and provincial);
Participate in the preparation of annual closing files;
Support production of monthly financial statements and perform various accounting entries;
Ensure that accounts receivable and payable are balanced;
Perform ad hoc financial analyses as required;
Manage monthly invoicing and bank deposits.
Your profile
Technical training in accounting (DEC or equivalent);
3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in a construction-related environment;
Good understanding of the complete accounting cycle;
Developed autonomy, proactivity and analytical skills;
Ability to adapt to new tools and to work as part of a team;
Functional knowledge of Yardi (an important asset);
Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English. (exchanges with English-speaking customers and suppliers).
