My name is Caroline, and I am a recruitment consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and understands your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll positions.
I am looking for a Accounts Payable Technician for my client based in Estrie. This is a permanent position in hybrid mode.
Mission
- Process a high volume of supplier invoices
- Validate, code, and record invoices in the accounting system
- Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receipts
- Prepare and make payments (checks, wire transfers, EFT)
- Respond to supplier requests and follow up on discrepancies or disputes
- Perform accounts payable reconciliations
- Participate in month-end closings related to accounts payable
- Maintain up-to-date supplier files and ensure compliance with internal policies
- Collaborate with the purchasing, receiving, and general accounting teams
- Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes
Your profile
- DEC in accounting, administration, or equivalent training
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset)
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP accounting systems
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
- Good team spirit and excellent communication skills
- Bilingualism (French/English)
