Mission
I am looking for a Payroll Specialist for a company in the distribution industry in Laval.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Processing and validating payroll from start to finish
-Ensure payroll accuracy in accordance with collective bargaining agreements and applicable standards
-Calculate bonuses and make necessary adjustments
-Answer questions and resolve payroll-related issues
-Manage year-end activities (T4, Relevés 1, taxable benefits, etc.)
-Submit government payments and perform payroll reconciliations
-Ensure the smooth operation of the payroll and time-tracking systems
-Prepare various payroll-related reports
-Support managers and the human resources team with payroll issues and special projects
Your profile
Your Profile:
-Payroll certification (a plus)
-5 years of experience in payroll
-Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations in Canada and Quebec
-Bilingual in French and English to communicate with colleagues in other provinces
-Experience with ADP (a plus)
