My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for a Financial Controller for a manufacturing company located in Saint-Pie, (Hybride).

Mission

 Financial leadership: Plan, organize, direct and control all Finance Department activities.
 Analysis and reporting: Oversee the production and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial statements, ensuring clear communication of results.
 Team development: Coach and support your team to encourage a collaborative spirit and foster their professional development.
 Process improvement: Identify, document and improve existing financial processes, while proposing innovative new tools.
 Compliance and audits: Ensure compliance with government requirements and accounting standards, and coordinate external audits.
 Interdepartmental partnership: Act as a resource and business partner to other departments in support of strategic initiatives.
 Internal controls: Ensure the effective application of internal controls within the company.
 Budgeting and planning: Actively participate in the budgeting process and financial analyses.

Your profile

 CPA accounting designation an asset.
 5 to 7 years' experience in a similar role (experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset).
 Proven team management skills (3-4 employees under your responsibility).
 Autonomy, rigor and intellectual curiosity.
 A spirit of continuous improvement.
 Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage several files simultaneously.
