I'm looking for a Tax Advisor for an accounting firm in Laval.
Your responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities;
- Prepare and review income tax returns (individual, corporate and trust);
- Prepare various tax forms (rollover, sales tax, etc.);
- Prepare tax account calculations (CDC and sheltered income);
- Provide advice on tax improvements to be passed on to the client by the case manager;
- May participate in tax audit files and draft representations to tax authorities;
- May participate in tax planning and drafting memos;
- May participate in drafting tax bulletins for clients;
- Act as a reference for internal staff members;
- Conduct tax research;
- May have client contacts related to the tax aspects of their files;
- Carry out any other related tasks required within the scope of his/her duties.
Your profile
- Master's degree in taxation completed or in progress
- 1 year experience in a similar role
- Experience in an accounting firm
- Proficiency in Excel and Taxprep
- Fluency in written and spoken French
