I’m Caroline, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll.
I am currently seeking an Accountant for my client based in Granby. This is a permanent, on-site position.
Mission
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting and the accounting cycle through to monthly closing (reconciliations, journal entries, preparation of financial reports).
- Optimize and automate accounting processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze financial results and establish relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) for management.
- Conduct financial and strategic analyses, including business cases, profitability studies, and grant applications.
- Serve as a business partner to management by providing recommendations and supporting financial decision-making.
Your profile
- At least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in an SME or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in managing the entire accounting cycle.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and the ability to organize and analyze financial data.
- Proficiency with accounting software, particularly Acomba or an equivalent ERP system.
- Ability to develop value-added financial analyses (business cases, profitability analyses, grants).
- Analytical mindset enabling the transformation of data into clear and strategic recommendations.
PROCESS: Initial interview with Caroline Vansteene, Recruitment Consultant, followed by an interview with the Director of Operations.
