Mission
I am looking for an Accounts Payable Team Leader for a distribution company in Montreal.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the processing, verification, and entry of supplier invoices
- Following up as needed to ensure that invoices are compliant and properly documented
-Perform the necessary reconciliations and validations prior to processing invoices
-Prepare various reports and follow-ups related to accounts payable;
-Respond to supplier inquiries and follow up on invoices, payments, or discrepancies
-Collaborate with various internal teams to resolve issues
-Provide support to team members in using accounting tools and systems
-Participate in month-end and year-end activities, as well as respond to audit-related information requests
-Identify opportunities for improvement to make invoice processing more efficient
-Perform any other related tasks
Your profile
Your Profile:
- 3 to 5 years of experience supervising accounts payable
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with SAP (a plus)
-Attention to detail and thoroughness
-Bilingual in French and English to communicate with suppliers in various Canadian provinces
