My name is Hugo, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the island of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speak your language and work in your environment. I'm looking for a Chief Accountant for my client, a specialized distribution company (Design) in the West Island of Montreal. This is a permanent position, but 100% on-site.
Mission
Responsibilities:
➢ Production of financial statements.
➢ Prepare and enter accounting entries;
➢ Reconcile accounts;
➢ Balance sheet analysis
➢ Analysis of accounts
➢ Fixed assets
➢ Month-end closing
➢ Year-end closing
➢ Adjustment entries
➢ Cost analysis
➢ Supervision of 3 accountants
➢ Year-end closing process
➢ Administrative management
➢ Relationship with Banks and External Services
➢ Budget process;
➢ Perform all other related tasks linked to his field of expertise.
Your profile
Profile required
➢ Bachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalent professional experience;
➢ Minimum of 5 years' practical experience in accounting cycle management, budget management and management accounting;
➢ Supervisory skills
➢ Good knowledge of ERP software, particularly Excel
➢ Fluency in French and English: Collaboration with English-speaking partners
➢ Inborn sense of responsibility, commitment and professionalism;
➢ Autonomy and good judgment;
➢ Thoroughness and meticulousness.
