Mission

Our client is a fast-growing industrial company specializing in the design and manufacturing of custom technical systems for large-scale industrial projects.

As part of the expansion of its logistics operations, the company is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Technician to ensure the smooth flow of inbound and outbound goods.

Responsibilities

Receiving and Inspection of Parts: Handle the reception of goods, verify compliance, and inspect all components for potential damage or irregularities.

Documentation Validation: Check and approve received documents in collaboration with the Quality department.

Unloading and Delivery Control: Unload delivery trucks, compare shipment contents with delivery notes or invoices, and report any discrepancies.

Inventory Management: Organize the storage of goods in designated areas, update stock levels in the internal system, and ensure inventory accuracy.

Shipment Preparation: Prepare outgoing orders, including packaging, labeling, and verification of all required shipping documentation.

Documentation and Traceability: Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound shipments, including purchase orders, shipping documents, and incident reports.

Internal Coordination: Work closely with buyers and other departments to ensure efficient and seamless management of material flows.

Your profile

2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, procedures, and standardized operations.

Proven experience supporting recurring or standardized purchases, including preparing RFQs and communicating with suppliers.

Understanding of procurement processing procedures for various types of transactions and documentation.

Familiarity with supply chain and finance-related functions to resolve issues such as delays, shortages, shipping errors, or data discrepancies.

Proficiency in automated database systems for data entry, error correction, and report generation.

Solid understanding of the company’s internal procedures and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.

High level of rigor, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

General knowledge of packaging and shipping procedures.

Valid driver’s license and forklift certification required.

Ability to effectively manage administrative and logistics-related documentation.

Physically fit, capable of handling heavy loads.

Knowledge of inventory management, goods registration, raw material tracking, and supplier invoice processing.

High school diploma (Secondary V) or DEC in Administration, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience in management or logistics.
