Job Description

In the context of an industrial transformation and operational optimization, we are currently seeking, on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company, a strategic expert capable of redefining asset management and critical spare parts strategies across multiple sites.

You will act as a key subject matter expert, driving improvements in MRO inventory performance, enhancing equipment reliability, and supporting high-impact decisions related to supply chain and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities
Define and evolve a strategic vision for MRO inventory management (criticality, categorization, stock levels)
Assess current practices across multiple sites and identify tailored optimization opportunities based on site maturity
Develop governance frameworks, standards, and relevant performance indicators (KPIs)
Act as a strategic advisor to maintenance, operations, and supply chain teams
Improve alignment between planning, scheduling, and warehouse/store operations
Recommend innovative approaches to reduce overstock, obsolescence, and stock-out risks
Support organizational change by influencing stakeholders from shop floor teams to senior leadership

Your profile

Degree in engineering, logistics, operations, or a related field
Significant experience (8–10+ years) in industrial environments (maintenance, reliability, MRO, technical inventory)
Strong expertise in reliability methodologies (FMEA, RCM, criticality analysis)
Solid understanding of technical components (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation)
Experience with systems such as SAP (PM/MM) or equivalent CMMS/ERP tools
Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex environments and deliver pragmatic solutions
Excellent communication skills and strong influencing abilities
Comfortable both in the field and in strategic discussions
Bilingual in French and English (North American context)

Base salary: approximately CAD $100,000 – $120,000
Bonus: Profit-sharing program (~12–18%, depending on company performance and role level)
Working hours: 40 hours/week
Vacation: Based on recognized experience
Remote work: 2 days per week
