Mission
Position Summary
Our client, a large organization operating in a high-volume supply chain environment, is looking for a Purchasing & Imports Clerk.
Reporting to the team manager, the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for creating and tracking purchase orders, entering contracts and invoices, and maintaining accurate information in the ERP system. The role also involves regular follow-up with suppliers to support purchasing and import operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, update, and track purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Enter and validate information related to sales contracts and invoices.
• Create new items and maintain accurate data in the system.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines.
• Calculate shipment volumes and weights and perform unit conversions as required.
• Prepare and format reports related to purchase orders.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure proper follow-up.
• Provide administrative support to purchasing and supply chain operations.
Your profile
• Education in logistics, transportation, procurement, business administration, or a related field.
• Approximately 1–2 years of experience in administration, purchasing, logistics, imports, or data entry.
• Experience managing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers is an asset.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with an ERP system; knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Well organized and comfortable working in a high-volume environment.
• Autonomous, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems effectively.
