Senior Director, Information Technology
Introduction
FED IT is recruiting, a Senior Director, Information Technology.
Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for the overall IT vision, performance, and security of the organization in Québec. You will also collaborate closely with the group to ensure technological alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives across the company.
Mission
Lead and optimize the IT infrastructure (network, servers, cloud, cybersecurity).
Ensure system stability, security, and data integrity across all operations.
Manage the IT budget, policies, projects, and technology suppliers.
Build, coach, and empower a high-performing IT team.
Drive the company’s digital transformation projects and innovation initiatives.
Partner with senior leadership to define and implement IT strategy aligned with business goals.
Oversee compliance, governance, and IT asset management.
Evaluate and negotiate with technology vendors and service providers.
Occasional travel required between Québec and Ontario.
Your profile
University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree an asset).
Minimum 15 years of experience in strategic and operational IT management, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Strong expertise in infrastructure management, information security, ERP/MES systems, and cloud solutions.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across all levels of the organization.
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written (required to communicate with the Ontario head office).
