Team Leader - IT Operations

All our consultants are IT experts who speak your language and work in your environment. We cover IT professions, development, business intelligence and infrastructure.

We are looking for a Team Leader - IT Operations to join a company in the transport sector, located in Lasalle. This is a hybrid position.

Mission

This key role involves supervising a team of IT support staff and a system administrator. You will be responsible for the stability, performance, security and evolution of the IT environment, while working closely with other departments to align technology with business needs.

Main responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of support technicians and a system administrator.
Oversee day-to-day IT operations to ensure performance, reliability and security.
Work with other departments to identify technology needs and propose appropriate solutions.
Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
Administer Linux and Windows systems.
Manage various technologies such as Docker, TMS, Office 365, and other infrastructure tools.
Define and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Perform architectural analyses to optimize infrastructure efficiency and security.
Perform regular maintenance tasks and keep inventory up to date (hardware, software, firmware).
Support cybersecurity initiatives.
Keep abreast of industry trends and recommend technological improvements.

Your profile

Profile required
Proven team management experience in an IT operational environment.
Solid understanding of networks and connectivity devices.
Mastery of system administration, configuration management and best change practices.
Knowledge of system performance and security monitoring tools.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments, as well as IT hardware and software.
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proven leadership and communication skills.
Bilingualism required (French and English, spoken and written), due to frequent interactions with partners in Canada and the USA.

- Communication with international customers: As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing.
- Working with English-speaking partners: You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts.
- Drafting documents in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers.
