Today, I'm recruiting for one of my wonderful clients located in the east of the island near the Préfontaine metro station. The position is permanent and in hybrid mode.
Mission
- Manage and develop the IT network, including telecommunications equipment, servers, and the IT infrastructure.
- Plan and supervise network implementations, migrations, and consolidations, ensuring equipment availability, functional configuration, and overall security.
- Recommend ways to optimize the reliability of the server fleet and reduce operating costs.
- Dedicate a significant portion of activities to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Apply best practices to foster synergy between development, operations, and security teams.
- Implement DevSecOps approaches to improve the quality of deployed products, particularly through automation processes.
- Install, update, and maintain IT equipment.
- Maintain constant cybersecurity monitoring, detect vulnerabilities, and recommend corrective measures.
- Maintain technical documentation. - Program, configure, and document automated and centralized processes (backups, antivirus, anti-spam, synchronization, electronic transmission, etc.).
- Support the administrative and office support team with day-to-day operations (log auditing, network printer management, access accounts, and messaging).
- Support internal resources in the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of IT hardware and software.
- Develop operating standards and procedures for networking and equipment components.
- Automate deployments, testing, and configuration management processes for the cloud ERP system.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement the processes and tools required for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
- Perform any other related tasks.
- Be available to work outside of normal hours, on-call every other week.
Your profile
- Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science (or compensate for each missing year of education with two years of relevant experience).
- Have at least seven years of relevant experience, including five in computer network administration within an IT department.
- Master cybersecurity concepts and best practices, including NIST, CIS, and ISO 27000 standards.
- Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Master the Microsoft/Azure ecosystem: Active Directory, GPO, DNS, WINS, SCCM, Intune.
- Have networking expertise: LAN, WAN, VLAN, DMZ, ZTNA.
- Have a good understanding of virtualized system administration with VMWare vSphere.
- Be familiar with relational databases such as MS-SQL and MariaDB.
- Understand enterprise wireless networks (WiFi) and their security mechanisms.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and BAT scripts (asset).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios (asset).
- Knowledge of backup solutions such as Veeam (asset).
- Demonstrate advanced oral and written communication skills in French, and functional proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics suite.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse.
- Analyze complex situations and effectively resolve technical issues.
- Structure information rigorously and manage priorities independently.
