I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for an Accounting Technician for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid position.
Mission
- Participate in monthly closings by preparing accounting entries (provisions, prepaid expenses, etc.);
- Monitor and analyze aging balances, identify discrepancies, and propose appropriate solutions;
- Verify and justify manual entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards;
- Produce monthly financial reports for management and group authorities, in accordance with deadlines;
- Monitor cash flow on a daily basis, optimize cash flow, and manage cash flow forecasts;
- Contribute to balance sheet and income statement analyses and periodic financial reviews;
- Participate in the preparation of various financial analyses and the maintenance of effective internal controls;
- Design and update relevant dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
Your profile
- University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Advanced proficiency in Excel;
- Knowledge of SAP and Power BI software (an asset);
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
PROCESS: Initial interview with Caroline Vansteene, Recruitment Consultant, followed by an interview with the Chief Financial Officer.
