Mission
I am seeking a financial controller for a food industry company located in Sainte-Sophie.
Reporting to the Finance Department, your main responsibilities will include:
-Monitor and analyze the company’s financial performance
-Prepare financial statements and management reports to support decision-making
-Participate in budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis
-Oversee the entire accounting cycle and the maintenance of financial records
-Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and the improvement of financial processes
-Contribute to the automation and implementation of new financial systems
-Lead, motivate, and develop the accounting and administrative team
-Collaborate with various teams to support business initiatives and growth
-Monitor inventory and participate in forecasting activities
-Perform all other related duties
Your profile
What we’re looking for:
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
-CPA (preferred)
-Experience in accounting/finance, ideally in the manufacturing or food industry
-Leadership, independence, and teamwork
-Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of an ERP system
-Advanced French, functional English
