Mission

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, family-owned Quebec company, a recognized leader in the horticultural industry. Known for its human values and strong technical expertise, the company is looking for a Transport & Logistics Manager to join its team on-site in Laval, supporting operations in both a hands-on and strategic capacity.

Responsibilities:
Oversee all warehouse logistics tasks:
→ driver dispatch, order preparation, reception, and shipping
→ ensure cleanliness of the facilities and equipment

Determine delivery routes, coordinate driver and subcontractor schedules

Ensure delivery profitability

Optimize dispatching processes

Verify driver timesheets for payroll purposes

Assist with invoicing operations

Manage equipment returns (racks, pallets, scanning)

Serve as the key point of contact between drivers, office staff, and clients to ensure smooth and responsive communication

Ensure fleet compliance with inspections and regulations (Law 430, AVL, SAAQ, pre-SAAQ)

Work closely with the Operations Director to manage equipment and snow removal operations

Be available 24/7 for emergencies, especially during peak seasons

Your profile

At least 2 years of experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, or warehouse shipping/receiving
College diploma (DEC) or equivalent
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Experience with transport documentation and customs procedures
Certified in safe forklift operation
Ability to drive a truck when needed
Experience with dump truck driving and/or snow removal (an asset)
High availability and flexibility, especially during busy seasons (fall-winter)
Fluent in French and Spanish – essential for communication with staff and partners
