Mission
I am looking for a Dispatcher – Logistics Planner for one of my clients, a distribution company.
Under the supervision of the Transport and Logistics Director, your role will be to plan and optimize transportation routes from the distribution center, ensuring deliveries are efficient, punctual, and compliant with current standards. In coordination with various teams, you will contribute to the smooth operation of logistics and supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and adjust transport routes according to volumes, distances, and the constraints of each banner.
- Coordinate drivers and carriers to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.
- Manage daily priorities and operational contingencies.
- Communicate with carriers, stores, and internal clients to prevent or resolve delays.
- Monitor performance indicators and propose improvements.
- Use digital tools (MyGeotab, SAP, Excel) to plan and analyze routes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (inventory, shipping, promotions) to meet transportation needs.
- Ensure shipment compliance and proper tracking of transport documentation
Your profile
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a distribution center, including transport supervision and shipment management (experience in international distribution is a plus).
Strong proficiency with IT systems.
Detail-oriented, rigorous, and able to follow procedures.
Bilingual in French and English required, to interact with partners, clients, and colleagues across Canada.
Available Shifts:
Sunday to Wednesday — 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Wednesday to Saturday — 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Sunday to Thursday — 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
