IT Business Analyst

My name is Robin, and I’m a recruitment and business development consultant at FED IT, a recruitment firm specialized in IT.
I handle two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent.
All our recruitment consultants are IT experts who speak your language and operate in your world. We cover roles in IT, including development, business intelligence, and infrastructure.
Mission
As part of a strategic ERP migration initiative from Aptos to a new ERP system, we are seeking an experienced ERP Business Analyst with a strong background in logistics, warehouse operations, and distribution.
You will join a lean and agile IT team, reporting directly to the Director of IT and working alongside two technical team members.
The project spans 12 months:
10 months of implementation (requirements gathering, specification, configuration, business support)
2 months of testing and validation
The target ERP system is Epicor. While direct experience with Epicor is a plus, it is not mandatory—what is critical is a deep understanding of logistics and distribution processes, along with strong documentation and analysis skills.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis
Lead workshops with logistics, warehouse, and order management teams
Document business needs and identify process gaps between Aptos and the new ERP
Analyze current-state workflows and define to-be scenarios
Functional Specifications
Draft detailed functional specifications and use cases
Translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams and ERP integrators
Implementation Follow-Up
Collaborate closely with IT and developers to ensure accurate solution delivery
Participate in ERP configuration and validate business alignment
Track deliverables and ensure deadlines are met
Testing & Support
Develop and execute functional test plans
Identify and document issues, follow up on resolutions
Assist in user training and adoption
Documentation
Create thorough documentation of business processes, functional flows, and user guides
Maintain traceability and clarity throughout the project lifecycle
Your profile
7+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst on ERP-related projects
Proven track record in logistics, warehouse management, and distribution systems
Experience with ERP migration or implementation projects (Epicor, Aptos, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
Strong understanding of inventory management, shipping/receiving, order fulfillment
Excellent documentation and business process modeling skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders
Fully bilingual (French/English) – spoken and written
Comfortable working on-site during the early phase to understand operational realities
