Transport Technician - International area
Introduction
Hello ! I'm Anissa, Recruitment Consultant for the Fed Supply employment agency, specialist par excellence in the fields of supply chain, logistics, transportation and customer service - offering temporary and permanent jobs in the Greater Montreal area. Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.
Mission
I'm assisting one of our customers in the distribution sector in their search for a transport agent - located in Ville Saint Laurent.
Reporting to the Transport Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Check email inbox regularly to see which emails contain documentation from our respective suppliers.
- Organize these documents according to their completeness. If the documentation is complete, i.e. includes the Bill of Lading, the commercial invoice, the packing list and any other related or complementary documents. A file can then be created.
- Updating of all statuses for file creation: 25 of the JDE92 software, sending of customs documents to the relevant customs brokers (Canada or USA) and sending of the relevant documents (packing list) to the warehouses. By creating files, we act as a bulwark and intermediary.
- Create files and update the various forwarder reports (Delmar, OTS and CSRA).
- Contact supplier or buyer if there is an error in quantity or product code. Follow.
- Split the line in case the invoice does not match JDE.
- Work in collaboration with other teams.
