Mission

We are looking for a Maintenance Buyer/Planner for our client in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks :

- Research parts on the Internet and with our various suppliers;
- Maintain long-term relationships with our suppliers;
- Make price requests in order to establish comparisons;
- Place orders based on work orders and parts lists recommended by our equipment suppliers;
- Enter transactions (purchase orders) into the ERP system;
- Participate in departmental planning meetings;
- Negotiate agreements for recurring contracts and ensure their smooth operation;
- Support the maintenance team in inventory and warehouse management;

Your profile

Skills required:

- Degree relevant to the position
- Experience in purchasing / warehouse and maintenance management (strong asset);
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) (asset);
- Mastery of the Office suite and facility with internet searches;
- ERP experience (asset);
- Excellent communication skills;
- Sense of initiative and proactivity;
- Creativity and interest in continuous improvement.
