Mission
Your function
I am currently recruiting a Process Engineer - Day shift, 40H/week for one of my clients, a company specialising in the manufacture of chemical products, located in Montreal East.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Helping with the plant start-up project
- Putting new equipment into production
- Analysing and reporting on current processes
- Managing production start-ups and shutdowns
- Monitoring process improvement projects
- If necessary, implement corrective actions
- Quality control of non-conformities and rectifying them
- Ensure compliance of raw materials
- Ensuring that health and safety standards are respected and applied
- Other related tasks in correlation with the job title

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sense of analysis and synthesis
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Sensitive to health and safety issues
Our ideal candidate is comfortable working in close collaboration with operational departments to maintain and optimize the process and thus ensure customer satisfaction and operating costs. This is a person who likes to be on all fronts and has excellent interpersonal skills.
Your profile
- At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in chemistry or petrochemistry a strong asset
- BAC in Process
- CPI or OIQ member
- Knowledge of production tools and processes
- Permanent position 40 hours over 5 days - Shift work
Salary
80K to $120K depending on experience
