Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located east of Montreal, a computer technician with 3-5 years of experience. The position is permanent, on-site mode and with great benefits
Mission
- Provide first and second level support for incidents reported by users related to the office and telephone environment.
- Process service requests and assist technicians in the management and maintenance of office and telephone environments.
- Analyze incidents, identify underlying causes and propose appropriate corrective solutions.
- Train users on new technologies and computer system updates.
- Recommend fixes and improve existing documentation and procedures.
- Manage inventory of IT equipment, such as computers, cell phones and tablets.
- Collaborate with team members as well as the Head of Information Technology to identify opportunities for improvement and propose fixes relating to support, procedures and management of the office environment.
- Provide support to the network administrator in his responsibilities.
- Perform any other related tasks, as needed.
Your profile
- Degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in office automation and IT support in an IT department.
- Solid experience with Windows 10 operating system.
- Expertise in the administration of Office products, including the 365 cloud version.
- Experience with SCCM and Intune.
- Good command of Microsoft cloud computing environments (OneDrive, Azure AD, etc.).
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and DNS networks.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, an asset.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, an asset.
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Good management of priorities.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Constant concern for quality.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
