Hello, I'm Guillaume, senior recruitment and business development consultant at Fed IT, a recruitment firm specializing in IT recruitment.
I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. Our team of IT experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover the IT, development, business intelligence and infrastructure professions.
I'm looking for a systems administrator for one of our customers, located in the West Island of Montreal. This is a permanent, hybrid position. Salary varies according to experience ($80,000 to $90,000).

Mission

Your duties will include :
• Maintain a complete inventory of hardware, software and firmware.
• Implement, document and maintain configuration baselines for hardware, firmware, applications and other system components.
• Conduct architectural reviews to assess the efficiency, scalability and security of existing IT infrastructure.
• Make recommendations to improve system architecture, performance and security based on industry best practices.
• Implement, document and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Develop, implement and test disaster recovery plans.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls and virtual private networks.
• Monitor system performance, security events and capacity planning parameters.

Your profile

• Diploma (DEC) in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Solid knowledge of best practices in systems administration, configuration management and change management.
• Experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructure and services.
• Experience in implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with system performance and security monitoring tools and techniques.
• Solid knowledge of hardware, software, firmware and network technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
