I'm looking for a Cost Accounting Manager for my client in the West of Montreal, in LaSalle. This is a permanent, hybrid position.
Your responsibilities:
▪ Calculate production costs for the plant's various products.
▪ Supervise the accounting technician.
▪ Perform variance analyses of cost versus budgets and forecasts.
▪ Raise cost improvement points.
▪ Collaborate on month-end process and financial statement preparation.
▪ Record financial results in head office system.
▪ Participate in the preparation of budgets and financial projections.
▪ Compile VCP initiatives.
▪ Compile KPIs.
▪ Account for capital projects.
▪ Confirm inter-divisional and inter-company balances to ensure equilibrium.
▪ Prepare year-end documents for external auditors.
Your profile
Your profile:
▪ BAC in accounting
▪ CPA designation (or CPA candidate)
▪ 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
▪ Mastery of the full accounting cycle
▪ Good knowledge of various computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite)
▪ Experience with JDE, TM1 and IBM Cognos (asset)
