Accounting Clerk (Part-Time - 3 days)

Mission
Under the supervision of the corporate accounting manager, the accounting clerk will be part of a team of three people, including two specialized clerks in treasury and one accounting clerk, and will be responsible for:
- Assisting the specialized clerks in their daily treasury tasks.
- Preparing and reporting accounting entries (using an Excel file or directly in the PeopleSoft system) to record daily, weekly, or monthly bank transactions such as cheque deposits and EFT payments.
- Assisting the specialized clerks with bank reconciliations, preparing reconciliation files, and scanning documents.
- Sending payment notices for all received money to internal departments and ensuring proper accounting of the transactions.
- Sending payment confirmation wires to suppliers.
- Other tasks (document archiving, receiving/opening envelopes, sorting documents).

Your profile
- 1 year of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of Excel
- Hold a DEC, AEC, or Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (asset)
