My name is Melissa, I am a recruitment consultant in finance, accounting and payroll. I work in permanent and temporary positions in the Greater Montreal Region.
I am looking for an accounts payables clerk for my client located in Ville St Laurent. This role is permanent, full time. 2 days from home is also offered.
More specifically, the main responsibilities of an accounts payable clerk – stock are to:
• Process a large volume of invoices (between 2000 and 3000 per month), while respecting the payment conditions of each supplier, as well as the company's policies and practices;
• Monitor the account statements of the various suppliers on a regular basis and reconcile the amounts due;
• Resolve the various requests from his immediate superior within the prescribed deadlines;
• Work with a charter of accounts in order to properly allocate invoices;
Your profile
Requirements:
• Hold a professional studies diploma (DEP) in administration, accounting, finance or any other related discipline (any combination of relevant diploma and experience could be considered).
• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable (full cycle), specifically in the processing of transport, customs and brokerage invoices.
• Have experience processing large volumes of invoices.
• Good knowledge of the MS Office suite (particularly Outlook and Excel).
• Bilingualism (French and English) both written and spoken
• Have knowledge and experience working with AS400 and/or JD Edwards (JDE) systems an asset
