I am Romane, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in recruitment for Finance professions. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team, experts in finance, speak your language and operate in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions.

I am looking for a Payroll Analyst for my client, a large agri-food group. This is a temporary position in hybrid mode in Boucherville.

Mission

As a Payroll Analyst and reporting to the Corporate Payroll Director, you will be responsible, among other things, for:
• Ensure rates are updated in our various systems and validate the changes made;
• Maintain the parameters of different types of profits and reconcile banks on an annual basis;
• Ensure discounts for any type of withholding tax or provision;
• Reconcile the balances linked to the various reserves and remittances to be made for the payroll sector;
• Reconcile salary journals in the different systems;
• Prepare year-end financial files;
• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors.

Your profile

Education: DEC in accounting or equivalent training.
Experience: 3 years of experience in the payroll sector, experience in a unionized environment and knowledge of payroll standards, advanced mastery of Excel. Assets: knowledge of SAP, and AS400.
Skills: Attention to detail, rigor, organization, analytical skills and openness to change.
