Hello, I am Jinane, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment agency specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll positions. I handle two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.

I am currently searching, on behalf of my client, a company in the west Island of Montreal, for a financial analyst. This is a permanent position with remote work.

Your responsibilties:

Participation in the preparation of periodic financial reports and the creation of dashboards to monitor the financial performance of the company;
Analyze in depth the discrepancies between actual financial results and the reference period (previous year, budget etc.) and propose corrective measures;
Work closely with the payroll department and provide careful analysis for all payroll transactions;
Participate in the entire budgetary exercise as well as in monitoring forecasts during the year;
Produce complex financial models for the needs of different business units;
Collaborate to provide essential financial information that influences the company's strategic decisions;
Participate in various special projects;
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate financial performance to ensure the business achieves its financial objectives;
Perform other related duties;

Your profile

Do you think this position is made for you? It might be the case if you have:

CPA accounting title (or CPA candidate);
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field;
Experience between 3 to 5 years in financial analysis;
Knowledge of accounting principles;
Knowledge of project management;
Advanced mastery of the Office 365 suite and more particularly Excel and financial modeling tools;
Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains, an asset;
Knowledge of how payroll works, an asset;
Mastery of the French and English language.
Strong analytical skills and ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret results
Ability to work in a team and cross-functionally;
Ability to solve problems
Ability to establish priorities and sense of organization
Appreciation for computer systems
